Why We Do Kids Yoga

There is no previous experience with mindfulness or yoga is necessary. So, whether you are a parent, grandparent, childcare provider or teacher, you can join in the fun. Our Mini Me Yoga classes are flexible and have been specifically designed to be used in your daily routine, whether it be in the home or the classroom.

Yoga has enjoyed a resurgence of global popularity over the past few years.

Although it has been taught for thousands of years, you may have experienced it in warm up exercises or sports at school, that you have done are more than likely Yoga poses. The way you sat cross-legged as a child in pre-school is a yoga pose. When you were a baby the way you rolled on your back and held your feet or turned onto your belly and pushed yourself up. So, you see, you already know how to do Yoga!

Let’s Get Started!

One of the joys of the Mini Me Yoga 15 Minute Program is that it requires very little basic equipment:

• Yoga mats, cushions, a rug or something to sit on the floor is preferred, but not essential.

• A soft toy, ball or something to pop on your belly for trampoline breathing.

• Music.

• Colouring mandalas and crayons or coloured pencils.

• Magick Yoga Cards.

• And most importantly you and the children!
