Easter Yoga Egg Hunt!

It’s that time of year when the Easter bunny comes out to play and we get to play our old favourite… Easter Yoga Egg Hunt!

We can play this indoors or outdoors.

Simply make large egg shapes from card, and ask the children to decorate them – make them quite large, about A4 size. If you don’t have time to make the cards, then simply hide the cards and imagine they are eggs.

Blu tack or stick the yoga poses to the egg.

Make a list of the poses that you have hidden, and if the children are old enough, give them a tick sheet to tick the poses off when they find them and where they were hidden.

Then hide the cards… (note: hide them in safe places, away from dangerous objects and make sure the eggs are not too high up).

The children can then go and find the eggs with the poses, making sure they do each pose as they find them. They can tick them off their list, or simply tell you when they get back.

For smaller children, you will all do the hunt together, finding the cards as a group and doing the poses as a group!

Happy Yoga Egg Hunting!
