Essential oils are highly concentrated plant extracts and for me they carry the spirit of the plant, and get to work on physical and emotional healing.

Essential oils are a great tool alongside yoga, mindfulness, a nutrient-dense diet and sleep to keep our bodies and minds healthy. Incorporating the oils into you and your kid’s daily routine can be beneficial on so many levels.

When kids feel out of control we can empower them with their own tool kit of oils for mood management throughout the day with one or more 10ml roller-ball bottles in their pocket to help them when they feel overwhelmed or when they need that extra support to focus.

  1. LEMON – the oil of focus – great for kids with dyslexia or ADHD.
  2. LAVENDER – the oil of communication and calm – use for a restful nights sleep, anxiety, also can be used on cuts, bruises and burns.
  3. PEPPERMINT – invigorating it helps with memory cognition and its good for headaches.
  4. ON-GUARD – blend for daily immune support and to protect against environmental threats.

My partner is a teacher and he diffuses in the classroom, which is a great way to receive the oils transdermally in a steady way, he likes to use a blend called Serenity with lavender and vetiver he says it really helps keep things calm.
